meeting/event participation is absolutely FREE (and PRIVATE). Our
non-profit mission is purely technical, and our PRIVATE e-mail list
is not sold or leased to anyone.
Just for attending NATCAP-OUG (even though there are no NATCAP
membership fees), you can receive a substantial discount should you wish
to join or renew your membership in our parent organization, the Independent Oracle Users Group
(www.IOUG.org formerly called
International Oracle Users Group).
Ask IOUG for details -- but remember that IOUG membership is
NEVER required
to be a NATCAP-OUG member or to participate in NATCAP-OUG sponsored
meetings/events.

NATCAP is the ideal place to start.
Learn the ropes in a casual environment where your knowledge is
more important than the animations on your PowerPoint presentation.
Then, if you like, move on to larger industry conferences.
